Tim Hudnall is a graduate of Western Kentucky University were he received a B.S. in Biology/Chemistry , a M.S.degree in Public Health. He was a member of the “Big Red Marching Band” as a trumpet and color guard performer, “Savior-Faire” Winterguard, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Music Fraternity. Mr. Hudnall has 34+ years experience in visual design, colorguard instruction/design and adjudication.
Tim’s marching band adjudication includes contest in the North and Southeast areas of the country and is active in the KMEA adjudication process. His winter guard adjudication is primarily with the CIPA circuit but he has been a guest judge for the SCGC, IHSCGA, and Tri-state Judging associations. He is a graduate of the Marching Roundtable Judges Academy Level One and Two, WGI Judges Academy. Tim is a current member of the CIPA Judges Association and WGI.
With a varied teaching past, Tim has been the director or consultant for many programs in Kentucky, Florida, and Tennessee. His indoor groups have been finalist at WGI regionals, Semi-finalist at WGI World Championships, and medalists in the FFCG, SCGC and CIPA circuits.
Tim served as the WGI Scholastic A class rep for the 2012 and 2013 seasons and is a current board member for the Connecting Individuals thru the Performing Arts ( CIPA ) which he has served for the last 8 years. He has been a circuit member for the past 12 years.
Currently Tim is the Visual Program Coordinator for the Hardin Valley Academy Winterguard program as well as Hardin Valley Academy’s “Spirit of the Valley” marching band which has been a BOA regional finalist, MTSU’s Contest of Champions finalist, and WCU Tournament of Bands Finalist.
He is married with two children (and a band parent) and resides in Knoxville, Tennessee where he works as a Physician Assistant.
